FOREST CO., Pa. (EYT) – The death of a 34-year-old Youngsville woman who was found Wednesday evening in Forest County has been ruled a suicide.

A report issued by Marienville-based State Police Trooper Shawn Nicewonger indicated the woman was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in a remote area near Guitonville Road in Green Township, Forest County.

The woman was found at about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday. Police said no suspicious circumstances exist, but their investigation continues.

According to Youngsville Borough Police, the woman was reported missing Wednesday morning after she didn’t show up for work at Titusville Area School District, where she taught.

Police said the woman was last seen on Tuesday in the Titusville area.

Family members told police she said had plans to go hunting around the time of her disappearance.

The woman was a former resident of the Leeper area and a graduate of North Clarion Junior-Senior High School.
