OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Oil City Police arrested a Polk man on Felony Indecent Assault charges on Wednesday.

Following an investigation into a report of an alleged Indecent Assault yesterday at a location on West 5th street, Oil City Police filed the following charges against Matthew A. Mejia, 30, of Polk:

– Corruption Of Minors — Defendant Age 18 or Above, Felony
– Unlawful Contact With Minor — Sexual Offenses, Felony
– Indecent Assault Forcible Compulsion — Misdemeanor

Mejia was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey and then placed in the Venango County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is set for August 27 in Venango County Central Court.
