STAT MedEvac Dispatched to Crash in Cranberry Township

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – STAT MedEvac was dispatched to a multi-vehicle crash that closed Bredinsburg Road in Cranberry Township Friday morning.

A representative of Venango County 9-1-1 verified that Bredinsburg Road has now reopened following the cleanup from an accident that sent several people to area hospitals Friday morning.

According to Venango County 9-1-1, the initial call was received for a report of a three-vehicle crash on Bredinsburg Road near its intersection with U.S. 322 in Cranberry Township around 8:01 a.m.

Seneca Volunteer Fire Department, the City of Franklin Fire Department, Community Ambulance Service, STAT MedEvac, and Franklin-based State Police were dispatched to the scene.

Patients from the crash were transported by both Community Ambulance and STAT MedEvac.

No additional details are available at this time.

Police are expected to release additional information within the next 48 hours.
