Breene, Dulaney, Abramovic Take County Commissioner Seats

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — Sam Breene, Mike Dulaney, and Albert “Chip” Abramovic were victorious in the Venango County Commissioners race on Tuesday.

Sam Breene (Republican) came out on top with 6,250 votes while Mike Dulaney (Republican) came in second with 5,720 votes, and Albert “Chip” Abramovic came in third with 4,303 votes.

Bonnie Summers (Democratic) is currently in fourth with 2,821 votes.

There are also an additional 573 write-in votes to be tallied.

In other county races, Deborah H. Sharpe (R), who ran for Venango County Treasurer unopposed received 9,450 votes.

Lana Linden (R) is the front runner the Venango County Prothonotary race with 6,896 votes over Jamie Hunt (D) who has 3,485 votes.

In the Venango County Auditor’s race, Heather S. Mohnkern (R) won 7,068 votes followed by Jamie Weaver (R) with 6,313 votes, while Terri L. McFadden (D) came in third with 3,663 votes.

The results remain unofficial until absentee and write-in ballots are calculated.
