Brian William RexBrian William Rex, 39, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh on June 11, 2017.

Born on November 18, 1977 in Clarion, he was the son of Arnold W. and Judy Elaine (Renninger) Rex.

He graduated from Keystone High School in 1997 and then on went to work with his family business, Rex’s Garage.

Brian loved working on cars and getting his hands under the hood.

He liked going on hikes, taking his guns out and shooting, and flying drones and doing photography with them.

Brian is survived by his father, Arnold W. “Boo” Rex of Shippenville; his sisters, Chris Schwabenbauer and husband, David, of Tylersburg, and Lisa Auerbeck and husband Ed, of Clarion; his nephew, Ed Auerbeck; his niece, Hope Schwabenbauer; his aunts and uncles, James Rex, Janet Nick, Irvin Renninger, and Florence Rankin; an extended family of cousins; and his companion, JoAnn Knight.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Rex in 1996, and several aunts and uncles.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion where Brian’s family will receive visitors from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday with Pastor Larry Rapp officiating.

Interment will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
