OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Bridge Builders Community Foundations is hosting its Second Annual Week of Giving.

Building off of last year’s success, Bridge Builders Community Foundations has announced the Week of Giving will be held from March 19, 2018, to March 23, 2018.

This event generates thousands of dollars in donations and maximizes the impact of philanthropy in our area. By taking part, non-profits can help raise money for their organization and increase the number of donors.

The Community Foundation will hold three kickoff gatherings for nonprofits on January 17. At these meetings, non-profits will learn about the Week of Giving and receive a toolkit to assist with their promotion. The time and location of these kickoff events are:

– Venango County — 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Transit Building Great Room, 206 Seneca Street, Oil City, PA 16301

– Clarion County — Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Clarion Free Library 644 Main Street, Clarion, PA 16214

– Punxsutawney Area — 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Gobblers Knob, 1548 Woodland Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767
