This evening I attended the 2014 Venango Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner at the Cross Creek Resort, honoring 2013 Citizens of the Year Mr. Orie Hepler and Mrs. Betty Hepler. This event was very well attended with 200 guests including past recipients and legislators. The few pictures I captured are only a sample of the evening’s festivities. Congratulations to Orie and Betty and also to Anita Eberle for being named volunteer of the year!

This morning I had the privilege of taking the portraits of the Goodman family; mom, dad, Lydia and Addison. Addison is seen here in what I call the little cowgirl outfit. Miss Addison is a very photogenic subject and she made my job easy! Her big smiles and her ability to control her laughter from seeing her father standing behind me, making goofy faces was amazing! PS. I love my job!

On February 14, I attended the opening reception of the Graffiti Gallery Spring Show, featuring Licia Donze (top winner in the 2013 Oil Heritage Festival Art Show) and five other area artists. The cold didn’t prevent the event from being well attended by local art enthusiasts who gathered to see all the different mediums of art such as; papier mache, oil, pencil, pen/ink and photography that graced the walls of the gallery. The show is being curated by Swantje-Elke and she has done a wonderful job! The show will be open Fridays and Saturdays until March 21st.
