Bruce W. Fisher, 52, of 32 Trillium Lane, Bruceton Mills WV, formerly of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown WV.

Born September 19, 1962 in Union City, he was a loving son of Norman K. and Marjorie A. Cook Fisher.

Bruce loved the outdoors and enjoyed his job as a Ranger for the Girl Scouts of Western PA in Bruceton Mills WV. He enjoyed people and could somehow make you laugh even if your heart was breaking. His favorite saying was “Keep On, Keeping On”.

He was a previous member and past Master of Fraternal Lodge No 483 F&AM in Rouseville.

On March 10, 2005 he married the former Evelyn M. Russell, who survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Marjorie A. Fisher of Franklin; two daughters, Kelly M. Fisher and Heather L. Fisher; one sister, Patti Jarzenske and husband Bernie; 3 nieces and one great niece.

Also surviving are three step children, Anthony Fonzo, Samantha Fonzo and Amanda Hoffman; and eleven step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friend may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Monday from 1 to 4 pm.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 4 pm Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Edward Saxman, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the family to help defray expenses.
