PERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to sources, for over a month, a small black bear with its head trapped inside an airbag has been spotted in Perry Township, Clarion County.

The bear had become a concern for many in the area.

After officials did not respond to the situation immediately, volunteers decided to take it into their own hands to help the trapped bear.

The bear was called “bucket bear” because initially it was thought to have a bucket on its head; however, once captured, it was determined that it was a tractor-trailer airbag.
