VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-Oil Region Credit Union, a growing community-based organization, provides its members with that personal touch — like a family member.

As a full-service organization, it serves all people who live, work, worship, volunteer, attend school, or own a business in Venango County. With 21 skilled employees, the institution has the capability of serving its over 8,000 members.

Being a not-for-profit financial institution, the organization operates independently to serve its members. In fact, the members of Franklin-Oil Region Credit Union (FOR-CU) are actually co-owners of the company which is state-chartered and federally-insured.

As a member-owned financial institution serving Venango County for over 40 years, its focus is to meet and exceed its members’ financial needs.

Since Venango County’s growth is important to the credit union, last year FOR-CU sponsored many events in the Venango County area, such as Officers Down 5k, Relay for Life, Applefest, Fighters Ball…just to name a few. And — with FOR-CU’s employees’ dedication to the community, they plan to continue supporting events and the Venango County community.
