Butler County School Van Crash: One Person Killed, One Injured

BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — According to state police, a school van accident occurred yesterday afternoon in Clinton, Butler County, Pa. leaving one woman dead.

Police say yesterday around 3:30 p.m. 66-year-old Kathleen Webb of Sarver, Pa., was driving south on Saxonburg Boulevard in a 2004 Chevrolet Astro van when she struck a tree south of Brewer Road.

Webb was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The only student in the van, a girl from Tarentum, was flown to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC with severe injuries.

Assisting at the scene were Saxonburg Fire and EMS, West Deer Police Department, Butler County Coroners Office, and members of Troop D Butler.
