handcuffSENECA, Pa. (EYT) – Officials say a 55-year-old California man is facing multiple charges for allegedly stalking a 22-year-old Seneca woman.

Franklin-based State Police say Robert Allen Leon, of Concord, CA, “engaged in a course of conduct which demonstrated the intent to place the victim in reasonable fear of bodily injury or unsubstantiated emotional stress.”

The alleged incidents occurred between March 1 and April 26 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.

Leon also allegedly provided false information to police during the course of the investigation.

The following charges were filed at Magisterial District Judge Matthew T. Kirtland’s office on April 26:

  • Stalking – Repeatedly Committing Acts to Cause Fear, Misdemeanor 1 (2 counts)
  • Harassment – Communicating Repeatedly in Another Manner, Misdemeanor 3
  • False Identification To Law Enforcement Officer, Misdemeanor 3
  • Harassment – Course of Conduct with Legitimate Purpose

Leon was placed in the Venango County Jail after failing to post $15,000 cash bail.

A preliminary hearing is set for May 4 before Judge Kirtland.
