MEADVILLE, Pa. – Troop E Camp Cadet begins on Sunday, June 16th and runs through Friday, June 21, at Allegheny College in Meadville.

Camp Cadet is operated by members of the Pennsylvania State Police, Emergycare, and other volunteers, in conjunction with the Erie Kiwanis Club. The camp is open to boys and girls 13 to 15 years of age.

There is no cost.

The camp is a leadership and character development camp designed to bring a better understanding of law enforcement while instilling self-confidence in the cadets through teamwork activities and military discipline. Organizers say the camp has a very positive effect on the youths who attend, and many parents praise the camp for its effects on the attitude, behavior, and outlook of their children.
