Car Catches Fire at Tionesta Area Gas Station

TIONESTA, Pa. (EYT) – Firefighters responded to a car fire at a gas station along Route 208 in Frills Corners this afternoon.

Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of a car fire around 1:45 p.m. today at Frills Corners Convenience Store.

A fire department official says the car that caught fire was a “wrecked car” that was being transported on a flatbed truck.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze shortly after it ignited.

Officials say the cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.

No one was injured in the fire.
