Car Crashes into Embankment Near Franklin Animal Hospital

SANDYCREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say a one-car accident occurred on Route 8 (Pittsburgh Road), in Sandycreek Township, Venango County.

Police say around 12:65 p.m. on January 16, Jaime L. Smalley, 41, of Oil City, was traveling north on Pittsburgh Road near the area of the Franklin Animal Hospital when she lost control of her 2012 Ford Fusion causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a snow embankment.

Smalley was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured in the crash.

The vehicle was disabled in the accident and was towed from the scene by Lowry’s Towing.

Smalley was cited for a traffic violation.
