VICTORY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, around 12:49 a.m. on August 30, a one-car accident occurred on State Route 8, in Victory Township, Venango County.

Police say 40-year-old Brian R. Coxson, of Franklin, was traveling north on SR 8 in the right hand lane and lost control of his 2000 Toyota Camry.

The car traveled off the side of the road and struck trees located off SR 8.

Coxson was using a seat belt and was not injured.

He was charged with a traffic violation.
