RICHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say a St. Petersburg man crashed his vehicle after failing to negotiate a curve on Route 38 in Richland Township on Tuesday evening.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 9:59 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 23-year-old Nathan K. Page, of St. Petersburg, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Impala, traveling north on State Route 38 just north of Airport Road in Richland Township, Venango County.

Police say as Page crested a hill, he failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway, and the vehicle struck a guide rail on the eastern side of the road. The vehicle then crossed both lanes and came to a final rest in a wooded area on the western side of the roadway.

Page was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

He was charged with a traffic violation.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Venango Towing.

Mike McFadden, of the Emlenton Fire Department, assisted at the scene.
