Career Center Students Earn Medals in Nursing Assisting Competition at Leadership Conference

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. – The Clarion County Career Center has announced that two Allied Health Science students placed in the top three in their Nursing Assisting competition for the HOSA State Leadership Conference.

The conference was held in King of Prussia, Pa.

Morgan Bish, a 12th-grade student at Clarion-Limestone High School, placed first in Nursing Assisting and earned a gold medal.

Abigail Barris, a 12th-grade student at A-C Valley High School, placed second in Nursing Assisting and earned a silver medal.

The results qualify them to participate in the HOSA International Leadership Conference which will be held in Orlando, Florida, in June.

There were a total of six Allied Health students who participated in the state conference: Abigail Barris, Morgan Bish, Emily Little (Redbank Valley), Jordan Milliron (Redbank Valley), Sylvia Stalker (A-C Valley), Sierra Wolfe (A-C Valley).

The students were accompanied by their Allied Health Instructor, Mrs. Traci Wildeson.
