Carol A. Siegel, 73, of Strattanville passed away at her home on March 30, 2016.

She was born on March 27, 1943 in Clarion; daughter of Albert Charles and Gertrude Curran Hartle.

Carol was a 1961 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School.  She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, American Legion Auxiliary in Clarion, and A.A.R.P. Carol first worked 19 years at Marienville Glass Containers until it closed.  She then worked 16 years at SCARC in New Jersey.  Returning to Clarion in 2000 she worked for Good Tire Service as bookkeeper, retiring in 2009.

Carol enjoyed NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhardt fan.

She is survived by one son, Steve Siegel and his wife Deb of Ohio, two grandsons, Drew Siegel of Westerville, OH and Kevin Siegel of Chicago, Il., one sister, Gertrude Burchfield of Branchville, NJ, two brothers, James A. Hartle and his wife Judy of Shippenville and Robert J. Hartle and his wife Donna of Port Allegany PA, and several nieces and nephews.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, a sister-in-law, Mary-Kay Hartle, and a brother-in-law, C. Richard Burchfield.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion where the mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Rev. Monty Sayers, pastor as presider.

Entombment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Immaculate Conception Catholic School.
