Carol Diane Best Geib, of Homosassa, Florida, formerly of Knox, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 after an extended illness.

She was a daughter of the late Aldine and Laird Best and a graduate of Keystone High School.

Carol was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Knox, was an avid gardener that loved her plants, but even more, loved her family and her puppies.

She had a great zest for life and lived it to the fullest.

Carol is survived by her siblings; Eleanore Kenemuth of Maryland; Wanda Palm and her husband, Larry, of Franklin and Meredith Best and his wife, Sharon, of Knox along with several nieces, nephews and many good friends in Florida and Georgia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Richard Kenemuth.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to Noon Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Avenue, Knox.

Funeral services will be held at Noon Thursday in the funeral home with the Reverend Randy Evans officiating over the service.

Interment will follow in the St. Paul’s Union Cemetery in Knox.
