Caroling Tours in Franklin Set for December 5

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Carolers will be singing throughout Franklin’s Historic churches on Saturday, December 5 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The community is invited to tour the sanctuaries of seven historic Franklin churches, and sing Christmas carols as they walk from church to church.

The churches will all be open to the public during the event, with guides to share their rich histories.

Refreshments will be provided.

Caroling walks between churches will start at 1:30 from First Presbyterian, then from each subsequent church on the half hour (departure times listed below).

Participants may simply tour the churches, caroling is optional.

Departure Times:

1:30 p.m. — 1950 First Presbyterian Church — Elk & West Park Streets

2:00 p.m. — 1882 Free Methodist Church — 1300 block of Buffalo Street

2:30 p.m. — 1901 St. John’s Episcopal Church — Buffalo & 12th Streets

3:00 p.m. — 1886 Grace Lutheran Church — Buffalo & 11th Streets

3:30 p.m. — 1879 St. Patrick Catholic Church — Liberty & 10th Streets

4:00 p.m. — 1904 First Baptist Church — Liberty & 11th Streets

4:30 p.m. — 1914 First Methodist Church — Liberty & 11th Streets
