OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — A 33-year-old man faces indecent assault and related charges after he allegedly groped an Oil City woman and threatened another during a drunken incident that occurred early Saturday morning.

According to court documents, the Oil City Police Department filed criminal charges against 33-year-old Eugene Samuel Sanders, of Meadville.

According to a criminal complaint, around 2:12 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, Oil City Police Officers responded to a residence on Plummer Street for a report of an unwanted, intoxicated man in the house.

The complaint states that a female resident told officers that Sanders was inside the residence, and another woman was locked inside a bedroom because she was afraid of him.

According to both victims, Sanders followed one woman from the kitchen to the living room and “to her bedroom where he grabbed her breast, vagina, and butt,” the complaint indicates.

When officers spoke to Sanders, they discovered there was a warrant for his arrest, and he was taken to the Venango County Jail.

Both victims came to the police station to give statements, and it was learned that one woman returned home and told Sanders to leave, which he didn’t. She did this repeatedly for more than two hours, according to the complaint.

When the woman attempted to call 911, “Sanders confronted her and told her he was going to slap her,” the complaint continues.

According to court documents, Sanders was arraigned in District Judge Andrew Fish’s office on the following charges:

– Indecent Assault-Without Consent of Other, Misdemeanor 2
– Harassment — Communicate Lewd, Threatening, Etc. Language, Misdemeanor 3
– Defiant Trespass Actual Communication To, Misdemeanor 3

Unable to post $25,000.00 monetary bail, he was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

The charges were waived for court and have been transferred to the Venango County Court of Common Pleas.

The case is working its way through the court system.

In a separate case in Venango County Court of Common Pleas against Sanders for DUI and related charges, his sentence is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on August 1 in front of Judge Robert L. Boyer.

Sanders also served time in Crawford County Jail after pleading guilty to Harassment — Subject Other to Physical Contact.
