FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Barrow-Civic Theatre is hosting the musical “Big Fish” in June.

Catch this show June 15, 16, 22, 23 at 7:30 p.m. and June 17, 24 at 2:00 p.m.

Edward Bloom is a man who leads an extraordinary life — that is, according to the stories he tells his son, Will. Edward claims to have lived a life populated by witches, giants, and mermaids, marked by true love that stops time in its tracks and framed by heroics that push the limits of believability. Will, now an adult and no longer amused by fairytales, insists on the rational rather than fantastical. When Edward’s health declines and Will learns that he and his wife will soon have a son of their own, he decides to find out the truth behind his father’s stories, once and for all.

Filled with magnificent twists and turns and spine-tinglingly beautiful music, Big Fish is a larger-than-life tale about fathers, sons, and the experiences that define us.

The show is rated PG.

Tickets are $20.00 for adults, $18.00 for seniors/military, and $14.00 for students/children.

Groups of 10 or more save 15% on all performances (online code: GROUP). Families of 3 or more save 10% on June 17 and 24 (online code: FAMILY).
