CEC Urges Member to Conserve Energy Today

PARKER, Pa. — Central Electric Cooperative has issued a peak alert announcement, urging members to conserve energy on Monday.

CEC is asking its members to conserve power by turning off all non-essential electric items especially lighting, dehumidifiers, and pool pumps. Additionally, members are being asked to set air conditioners at a minimum of 78 degrees.

CEC anticipates a demand peak from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m.
