Celtic Christmas Concert Set for December 7 at Titusville Presbyterian

TITUSVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The Titusville Presbyterian Church is hosting a Celtic Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 7.

The event, under the direction of Natt Licht, begins at 7:30 p.m. and features Cahal Dunne, “Ireland’s Happy Man” – a composer, classically trained concert pianist, storyteller, comedian, and television personality.

It is free and open to the public.

Dunne is the nephew of the former Prime Minister of Ireland, Jack Lynch. In l974, he received his Bachelor of Music degree from the University College of Cork and had several hits in Europe. Cahal started a band in Ireland in 1977, and against all the odds they made it. They won the equivalent of American Idol in 1979 with his own song “Happy Man.”

Dunne’s style is rich and deep, reflecting the many strands in his distinguished career. He has performed with Bob Hope, Al Martino, and Tony Orlando. He has also performed several American Presidents. With his Irish to Broadway to country repertoire.

The event is made possible through the generosity of numerous local businesses. A free will offering will be collected.
