Woman Seriously Injured in Crawford County Motorcycle Crash

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Pa (EYT) – According to Corry-based State Police, a motorcycle and a car crashed in Steuben Township, Crawford County, Pa.

Police say the accident occurred around 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 24, 2012, at the intersection of Tryonville Road and Leboeuf Trail Road in Steuben Twp., Crawford Co., Pa.

According to police, 44-year-old Lisa Bowles of Centerville, Pa., was driving her motorcycle on Tryonville Road when 61-year-old Debra Karns of Cooperstown, Pa., failed to stop at a stop sign on Leboeuf Trail Road.

Police say Bowles was unable to stop before hitting the car.

Bowles’ motorcycle landed on top of her during the crash.

She is in serious condition at UPMC Hamot.

Karns was not injured in the crash.
