Charges Against Kennerdell Man Accused of Threatening Victim With Gun Waived for Court

SCRUBGRASS TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Charges against a Kennerdell man who allegedly threatened a victim with a gun were waived for court on Wednesday.

According to court documents, the following charges against 27-year-old Tyler Lefevre, of Kennerdell, were waived for court on Wednesday, February 6:

– Terroristic Threats W/Intent To Terrorize Another, Misdemeanor 1
– Unlawful Restraint/Serious Bodily Injury, Misdemeanor 1
– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2
– Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Misdemeanor 2

The case was transferred to the Venango County Court of Common Pleas.

Lefevre is currently free on $10,000.00 unsecured bail.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Red Clover Road, in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, on January 31.

The case involved an incident in which a known man was delivering propane to Lefevre.

Details of the case:

According to a criminal complaint, around 2:54 p.m. on January 31, Trooper Young, of Franklin-based State Police, was dispatched to a residence at the above-described location.

Lefevre Interviewed

Tyler Lefevre was interviewed at the scene. With his hands in the airs, he advised Trooper Young that he had a gun inside his waistband. The firearm was retrieved and placed in the police vehicle.

Lefevre related that he asked a known man if he filled the propane tank and the man responded “(Expletive) you. I don’t have to fill your tank.”

He told Trooper Young that the known man bumped him with the work truck, and then he pulled out his pistol. The known man then called 9-1-1.

Victim Interviewed

The known victim was interviewed at the scene.

He advised Trooper Young that he arrived at the Lefevre’s residence to fill an order of propane.

He stated that the two propane tanks on the property did not match with the serial number listed on the order.

The victim said that Lefevre came toward him and said “You better have (expletive) filled that tank. I’m tired of you guys’ (expletive) games.”

The known man then told Lefevre that he was going to leave, and Lefevre told him he wasn’t going anywhere without running him over, and Lefevre stood in front of the victim’s work truck.

The victim said that he then nudged the truck ahead a bit, and Lefevre then chest bumped the grill of his truck and pulled out a pistol and said, “You’re not going anywhere.”

The victim then called 9-1-1.

Lefevre Arraigned

He was arraigned at 6:10 p.m. on January 31, 2019, in Magisterial District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey’s office.

He was released on $10,000.00 unsecured bail.
