Charges Against Polk Center Employee Dismissed

POLK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Charges against a Polk Center employee who was accused of assaulting a resident of the facility were dismissed this week.

Court documents indicate the following charges, which were filed against 34-year-old Aaron Miles Truitt, of Oil City, on Friday, October 26, were dismissed on Wednesday, December 5:

  • Strikes, shoves, kicks or attempts/threatens care-dependent person, Misdemeanor 1
  • Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2
  • Harassment — Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary
  • Disorderly Conduct Engage In Fighting, Summary

Truitt, an employee of Polk Center, was accused of assaulting a care-dependent resident of the facility during an incident that occurred in Polk Borough on Thursday, October 11.
