FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — A Franklin man and a juvenile are being charged with physical harassment after an incident in Franklin.

According to information released by the Franklin Police Department, 18-year-old Lavar Johnston, of Franklin, and a juvenile male, also of Franklin, entered McDonalds in Franklin around 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 2.

After allegedly verbally harassing a known man sitting at the restaurant, another man stepped in to tell both Johnston and the juvenile to stop. After exchanging several words, it is alleged that both of them physically assaulted the victim, and then fled the scene.

Both Johnston and the juvenile were later found, and after an investigation, they were charged with Physical Harassment via summary non-traffic citations out of Judge Kirtland’s Office.
