Charlene D. Finch Kratzer, 71 of Seneca passed away at 12:00 A.M. Thursday August 8, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her family and Nikki.

Born April 29, 1942 in Franklin she was a daughter of the late Fred and Norma Peters Finch Sr.

She was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School.

Charlene enjoyed reading, gardening, motorcycling with her husband, and traveling especially the five months a year spent in Florida during the winter months.

She cherished time spent with with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Charlene worked for many years at Seneca Printing, retiring in 2007. She made many friends over her career at Seneca Printing and still stayed in contact with many of them.

On March 1, 2002 she married Kenneth R. Kratzer and he survives.

Also surviving are seven children; Vicki O’Day and her husband Steven of Shippenville, Kim Hartzell and her husband Steve of Oil City, Brian Tarr and his wife Julie of Franklin, Susan McFarland of Oil City, Brian Kratzer and his wife Sheila of Seneca, and Dave Kratzer and his wife Stephanie of Georgia and Scott Roberts of Oil City.

Additionally she is survived by six grandchildren; Amy O’Day, Tanya Macormac, Tyler McFarland, Megan Kratzer, Melissa Kratzer, and Nevin Kratzer; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Finch, Fred Finch and Don Finch; a sister Shari Hoffman and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Nikki.

In addition she is survived by many close friends of the Robert’s family.

There will be no visitation or public services.

Interment will be made in Bethel Cemetery.
