Charles R. Jarzenski, II, 42, a resident of 17 E. 6th Street, Oil City, died tragically Sunday afternoon, January 13, 2019, of injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident along Route 157, near Old Kahle Road in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Born December 16, 1976 in Franklin, he was a beloved son of the late: Charles R. and Shirley Lee Tarr Jarzenski.

Charles graduated from Franklin High School and earned his degree in welding from The New Castle School of Trade.

He had worked for many years as a laborer in the construction industry.

Charles enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Above all, he cherished his family and enjoyed the fun times they shared together.

He was a kind hearted man who always looked for ways to help others. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and the many people whose lives he touched.

He was married June 27, 2009 to the former Kimberly L. Smalley, who survives.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by six children: Brittnay and fiancé, J.R.; Todd; Danielle and boyfriend, Ty; Chase; Devyn and Chelsea; and by three grandchildren whom he adored: Amya, Aubree and Riley.

Also surviving is his brothers, Donnie Black and wife Tammy of Franklin and Shawn Jarzenski of Syracuse, NY; and by a sister, Sarah Jarzenski and wife, Kendra of Oil City; in addition to many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In keeping of his wishes, there will be no public visitation.

Family and friends may call Saturday 3-4 PM in The First Presbyterian Church, 215 E. Bissell Avenue, Oil City.

A memorial service in celebration of his life will be conducted Saturday at 4 PM in the church with Reverend Ronee Christy, officiating.

Immediately following the services, a luncheon for family and friends will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.

All are welcome.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be directed to his family for the future of his children.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Timothy E. Hartle Funeral Home, 1328 Elk Street, Franklin.
