Charlotte I. Haas, 67, of Oak Ridge, died early Sunday morning, October 8, 2017, at the Penn Highlands Brookville Hospital.

Born on June 12, 1950, in Fairmount City, she was the daughter of the late James C. and Aldeen R. (Bish) Boddorf.

Charlotte enjoyed her flowers, gardening, canning, crafting, and her dogs.

She loved being around her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Marci Shoemaker and her husband Rod of New Bethlehem and Jamie Smith and her husband Rich of Oak Ridge, three grandchildren, Nicole Shoemaker and her fiance’ Brandon Jay, JR Shoemaker, and Madison Smith, three great-grandchildren, Gage Franklin, Melonie Franklin, and Xavior Jay, a sister, Shirley Dapper of Zelienople and her companion Lou Ganza, two brothers, Gary Boddorf and his wife Kay of Oak Ridge and Larry Boddorf and his wife Pat of Hawthorn, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 10, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn.

The funeral service will be on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Lois Moranville officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Mahoning Township, Armstrong County.
