Charlsie Seeley, 86, formerly of Cochranton died Saturday, February 23, 2019, in Central, South Carolina.

She was born in Bartow, WV on November 5, 1932, a daughter of Joseph and Cora Bell Wooddell Halterman. She married Clarence (Bim) Seeley on August 19, 1950, and he preceded her in death on July 20, 2007.

She graduated from Cochranton High School and had her Beauty Shop in her house for several years in Cochranton.

Charlsie was also a member of the Deckard’s United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star, and enjoyed crocheting and being a homemaker.

Her daughters, Ann Johnson Miller and Carmen Sheets, survive and live in Central, SC. Also, a sister in law, Arlene Halterman, five step-grandchildren, Shawn, Ben, and Eric Miller, and Todd and William Sheets, 18 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Lena Hise, Mary Jane Deeter, Violet Grossman, and Fairy Sheets and two brothers, Jessie and Raymond Halterman.

Friends and family will be received at the Dickson Family Funeral Home, Inc., 123 S. Franklin St., Cochranton on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The funeral will 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Frank Weingard, officiating.
Interment will be in Peter’s Cemetery.
