cindy louCindy Lou Cochran, 58, of Utica, PA died at home as the result of an accidental house fire, Saturday, June 10, 2017.

She was born June 24, 1958 in Massillon, OH a daughter of Grant and Mary Porfilio Luzier. She married Gary A. Cochran May 14, 1978 and he survives.

She was a graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School and work as a nurses aid at Hillside Home and played bass guitar in a country band with her husband Gary in Florida, South Carolina and Pennsylvania.

She was a good cook, enjoyed crocheting, karaoke singing, Bible prayer and watching horror movies. She was a very loving person, enjoying spending time with her family. She also loved her home and her peace and quiet.

Survivors, in addition to her husband Gary of 39 years, include: a daughter, Shelly Perry and her boyfriend Jonathan Ketner, Sr. of Franklin; two sons, Jason Cochran who lives on the road as a trucker and Gary Michael Cochran of Franklin; three grandchildren, Caleb Cochran, Tristan Cochran and Jonathan Ketner, Jr.; her step-father, Charles “Chuck” Cross of Centerville; a sister, Roseann Peters of Erie; three brothers, Steven Luzier of Columbus, OH, Thomas Luzier of Meadville and Robert Luzier of Columbus, OH and nieces, nephews and cousins

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley K. Luzier and two brothers, Regis Luzier and William Luzier.

She was also preceded in death by her three dogs Izzy, Lucy and Mickey who died with her in the house fire.

The family would like to thank all the fireman and paramedics who fought to save Cindy’s life and bring the fire under control.

The graveside service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Kiser Hill Cemetery, Hunter Road at W. Oil Creek Road, Meadville with Rev. Doug Strawn, officiating.
