Clara Charlene Hogue

Clara Charlene Hogue, 66, of Clarion, passed away early Saturday morning, July 19, 2014 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.

Charlene was born on September 7, 1948 in Callensburg. She was the daughter of Bernard L. and Tressa E. Murray Kriebel.

In her earlier years she had attended the Callensburg Church of God. She enjoyed the company of her family, especially the children. She was a graduate of Keystone High School in Knox.

Charlene is survived by three sisters, Emma Jean Lindsey of Emlenton, Helen Nunamaker of Cochranton, and Carol Ireland of Rimersburg; two brothers, Philip Kriebel of Sligo, and Joseph Kriebel of Brookville, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Hogue, a sister, Betty Joan Kriebel, and a brother, Arnold Reed Kriebel.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Hile Funeral Home Inc., 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton, with the Rev. Dennis Barger, pastor of the Scrubgrass Stone Church, Emlenton, officiating.

Interment will be in Callensburg Cemetery.
