Clarion County Community Bank CEO James L. Kifer Appointed to Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers Board of Directors

HARRISBURG, Pa. — James L. Kifer, President/Chief Executive Officer/Chief Financial Officer at Clarion County Community Bank, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers (PACB).

Kifer was appointed to serve a one-year term in September 2019 at the association’s annual meeting.

The Board of Directors, which includes PACB officers, region and asset representatives, and at-large members, will meet quarterly to determine the policies and administration of the association. Members of the Board include CEOs and senior-level officers of PACB’s member banks.

With more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, Kifer began his banking career at New Bethlehem Bank as a loan officer and worked his way up the ranks to serve as EVP/CFO. In 2002 New Bethlehem was sold to a regional bank. From 2002-2004 Kifer worked as a consultant for the denovo start-up, Clarion County Community Bank.
