CLARION, Pa. — The Clarion County YMCA is seeking a qualified Head Swim Team Coach for the 2019-2020 swim season that runs October through March.

Head Coach responsibilities include: hiring assistant coaches, managing practices, communication with parents, preparing for and attending swim meets held on Saturdays, planning team events, activities and fundraising, and utilization of Meet Manager and Team Manager software for reporting and meet event submission. Practices will be held Monday through Thursday with some practices on Fridays.

Prospective coaches should have a background in competitive swimming and have a strong desire to work with children age 6-18. Coaches are expected to uphold the values of the YMCA while providing a fun atmosphere for children of all levels and abilities.

The position is part-time, 10 to 20 hours per week.
