The losses mean Clarion dropped all six games on the brief trip to South Carolina.

Game 1

Clarion jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning thanks to a solo home run by Cassidy Runyan, along with an unearned run off a Le Moyne miscue.

The Dolphins struck for seven runs in the fourth inning to take a commanding 7-2 lead and put the game out of reach.

Starting pitcher Laura Sadowski threw 3.1 innings in the loss, surrendering seven hits and six earned runs. Macy Rubin added three solid innings of one-run ball out of the bullpen.

Runyan was 1 for 2 with her aforementioned 3rd home run of the season, while Taylor Nonnenburg was a perfect 3 for 3 at the plate.

Game 2

The Golden Eagles once again struck first via the long ball, this time it was Natalie Else who hit her first home run of the season to give Clarion a 1-0 lead.

Unfortunately, Molloy rallied for four runs in the fourth inning to take a 4-1 lead. Trailing 5-1 in the sixth, Clarion would mount a rally of their own when Moriah Lynn tripled to left to score Runyan. Else would follow with a ground ball to shortstop that was misplayed, allowing Lynn to come around to make it 5-3.

That would be all the scoring in the game, as Molloy retired all three Clarion batters in the seventh to earn the win.

Lynn finished 2-for-3 with an RBI, while Else added a hit, a run scored, and two RBI. Aryn Boyer also went 1-for-3 on the afternoon.

Starting pitcher Sarah Gossard threw all six innings, allowing six hits and five earned runs.
