He is the first Clarion All-American since Kevin Genevro in 2016.

Vocco earned his second straight All-PSAC West honor earlier this year, winning a spot on the First Team Defense for the first time in his career. He finished his senior campaign with 53 total tackles, second-most among defensive linemen on the team, and also contributed 5.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks.

The numbers don’t tell the whole story, as Vocco earned praise as a rock in the middle in the Clarion defensive line. The Golden Eagles ranked among the top rushing and overall defenses in the nation in the early part of the season until injuries slowed the unit by the end of the year. Clarion finished the year third in the conference and second in the PSAC West in scoring defense, allowing an average of just 21.1 points per game, and the Golden Eagles finished fourth in the league and second in the West division in total defense at 336.4 yards allowed per game.

Vocco wraps his Clarion career with 175 total tackles, 6.5 sacks and 15.0 tackles for loss.
