The team will have a ceremony recognizing cancer survivors before the doubleheader vs. Pitt-Johnstown and again before the Feb. 16 doubleheader vs. Slippery Rock. Community members who have survived any type of cancer are invited to participate and will be admitted free to the game.

Players will wear their pink uniforms for the game and neon pink/navy Clarion t-shirts for warmups. Spectators can purchase their own t-shirt for $15. Zeta Tau Alpha sorority will assist with shirt sales and host a bake sale. They will join with women’s basketball to donate proceeds to Clarion Hospital Cancer Center and to their national philanthropy for breast cancer awareness.

“Our goal is to raise funds and awareness, not only for breast cancer, but for all women’s cancers,” said Jana Ashley, head coach.
