GROVE CITY, Pa. – Clarion’s Amanda Orr (Sr. Canfield, oh.) finished tied for second in medal play and helped lead the Golden Eagles to a first place finish on Monday at the Grove City Invitational, held at Grove City Country Club.

Played to a par 72, Orr finished tied for second in medal play firing a round of 89.

Also scoring for the Golden Eagles were fifth place Ashley Olivier (Jr. Northfield, Oh.) with a 93, seventh place Lindsay Finke (Jr. Erie/Iroquois) with a 95, and Larissa Roberts (So. Sligo/Union) and Erin Lynch (Fr. Smithtown, N.Y.) who tied for twelfth with a 99.

Clarion won the team title with a score of 376, topping Point Park who finished second with 383 while Grove City was third with a 387. Rounding out the seven team field were fourth place Westminster at 418, fifth place CMU at 438, Thiel sixth with 448 and Waynesburg seventh with 561.

The Golden Eagles will play at the Gannon Invitational on April 18-19.
