george-grant-photoMr. Clark Grant George, 76, of Grand Valley, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Titusville Area Hospital.

Grant was born in Reno, NV on April 7, 1939 to the late Harry and Nellie Clark George.

He graduated from West Forest High School, Class of 1957. He then enlisted in the United States Army.

Grant married Marilyn Wescoat on May 25, 1963 in Pleasantville. Together they owned George’s Little Store in Tidioute for over forty five years, where he enjoyed serving and visiting with all of the store patrons.

He was a member of the Olive Temple Lodge No. 557 F. & A. M., Amvets Post 113 of Tionesta, lifetime member of the National Trappers Association, and member of the Kellettville and Fryburg Sportsman Club.

Grant is survived by his wife Marilyn, two sons, Eric George and wife Denise of Titusville, and Brian George and wife Kelly of Dublin, CA; a daughter, Valerie George of Pleasantville; six grandchildren, Holly Hammond, Nicole Hunt, Luke George, Madison Powers, Ethan and Grace George; two great grandchildren, Summer and Alexzandra Hunt; a sister, Mary Walters of East Hickory; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry George; two sisters, Rose Maganotti and Bonnie Torres; and beloved nephew, Harold Kagle.

Per his wishes, no calling hours or funeral service will be observed.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
