Clifford Eugene Armburger, 74, of Cooperstown, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, December 30th.

Born January 27, 1942, in Cooperstown, Cliff was the son of the late Lawrence C. and Florence Tingley Armburger.

He was married to the former Marjorie Saltzmann who preceded him in death on June 23, 2002.

He was a US Army Air Force Peacetime Era Veteran, and worked at General Casting in Ohio as a coremaker before his retirement.

Cliff was a member of the Franklin Eagles #328, was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed being outdoors.

He is survived by his son, Chad Armburger and his wife, Deanna, of Grafton OH; his grandson, Jacob Armburger of Grafton, OH; his brother Rick Armburger of Cooperstown; and his sister, Janet Boughner and her husband, Wes, of Cooperstown.

In addition to his parents and wife, Cliff was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Armburger.

A Celebration of Life Service for Cliff will be held on Saturday, January 7th at 4:00 p.m. at the Cooperstown Firehall.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Venango County Humane Society, PO Box 1045, Oil City PA 16301.
