OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Two men dressed in “creepy costumes” are facing charges after they allegedly caused public alarm on Sunday in Oil City.

Around 12:10 a.m., Oil City Police received a report of two males — one dressed as a clown and another wearing a grim reaper costume — running out in front of traffic on East Front Street near its intersection with State Street.

Approximately 15 minutes later, Oil City police received a second report of the same two men near the Land of Laughter Playground on Harriott Avenue.

The men — identified as 18-year-old Darian Craig and 18-year-old Travis Foster — were taken into custody by Oil City Police.

They will receive disorderly conduct citations, according to police.

The incident is just one in a “string of alarming interactions with people in clown clothing.”
