Cochranton Woman Faces DUI, Child Endangerment Charges Following Traffic Stop

SUGARCREEK, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police made a DUI arrest on Sunday afternoon in Sugarcreek Borough, Venango County.

According to PSP Franklin, 37-year-old Lucy Frantz, of Cochranton, was stopped in a 2003 Chrysler Town & Country around 3:46 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, for a traffic violation in the city of Franklin.

During the traffic stop, Frantz was advised that she was going to be arrested for DUI. She resisted being placed under arrest by Trooper Fetterman, of PSP Franklin, and Lieutenant Campbell (Franklin City Police).

At the time of the incident, Frantz had her 15-year-old daughter with her.

She was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Fish on the following charges:

– DUI
– Resisting Arrest
– Endangering Welfare of Children
– Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic

Bail was set at $15,000.00 Straight, and she was placed in the Venango County Jail.
