Comedian Andrew Kennedy to Perform at Venango Campus

OIL CITY, Pa. – Clarion University – Venango will present bilingual entertainer Andrew Kennedy, one of the most hysterical comedians of today, at 7:00 p.m. February 8, in Robert W. Rhoades Center, Venango Campus, Oil City.

Admission to the event is is free.

Kennedy has the flexibility to perform for a variety of audiences and does it on a global scale. Most recently, he traveled to Bogota, Colombia for the filming of his own episode of Back Home (seen on the Fusion Network.) There he performed a comedy set strictly in Spanish with Freddy Beltran, Ivan Marin and the very outspoken Alexandra Escarate.

Raised in South America, the Caribbean and Asia by a Colombian mother and British father, Kennedy promotes cultural diversity through comedy. He developed, produced and starred in his own television pilot, “Related by Marriage,” (CBS) which was based on his comedy and life, and his half hour “Comedy Central Presents” special was voted one of the network’s top 20. Kennedy has shared his story live on stage around the world and twice has performed at Lincoln Center.
