FRANKLIN, Pa. – Celebrating their twenty-first year, the Franklin Fine Arts Council (FFAC) with the help of DiMartino Ice Team Sculptors will carve tons of crystal clear PA ice.

Franklin is well-known for its yearly ice show which draw hundreds of spectators.

Professionally crafted and intricately detailed, these sculptures dazzle and delight the public. More dazzling still, is watching the ice artists work their chisels and saws and transform these blocks of ice into works of art. Franklin On Ice has a perfect venue in beautiful Fountain Park, located in the heart of Franklin’s Victorian Downtown.

The FFAC makes no qualms about it – Franklin On Ice is designed to get people outside and downtown. It is designed to create a break from the winter doldrums and rather than bringing in outside street vendors – the entire Downtown itself is the venue with local shops as the vendors hosting winter sales, popular restaurants serving their popular fair and area artists providing additional entertainment for the entire family. Ice show spectators are offered Kool Kash Cards and have a chance to win Franklin dollars.

Barrow-Civic Theatre

Friday and Saturday, the Barrow-Civic Theatre and Off-Barrow Little Theatre will host a number of events. Shows include: an amazing Nature Arts Display, Liberty Cabaret Greatest Hits, and the Celebration of Talent Competition featuring all types of performing artists.
