CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — A benefit garage sale is being organized for a Strattanville woman who is battling cancer.

Penny Dolby Medenhall is a local nurse who has only been able to work a few days since her cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

In order to help Penny with medical bills and other living expenses while she undergoes treatment, several of her co-workers, friends, and family members are organizing a two-day benefit garage sale at the Clarion Mall.

The sale will be held on Saturday, November 17, and Sunday, November 18, near the entrance to Maurice’s during regular mall hours. There will also be a Chinese auction.

All proceeds will go directly to Penny Mendenhall.

Those who would like to donate new or used items can do so by dropping the items off at Charitable Deeds and Services located at 260 High Point Road in Knox on or before Friday, November 9. When dropping off items, please let John or Nolan know they are for the Penny Dolby Medenhall benefit.
