OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — An Oil City woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing and selling firearms.

Court documents indicate the Oil City Police Department filed criminal charges against 44-year-old Cara Beth Salsgiver, of Oil City.

According to a criminal complaint, on Friday, October 20, Officer Webster and Chief Wenner, of the Oil City Police Department, spoke with a concerned citizen who informed them that Cara Salsgiver had allegedly stolen several firearms. Through an investigation, Officer Webster learned that a Remington Shotgun, a Remington 30-06, Mossberg Mossy Oak 30-06, and a Savage 240 were also stolen, the complaint continues.
