Oil City Man Facing Charges After Threatening to Shoot People and Burn House Down

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – A 44-year-old Oil City man is facing criminal charges after allegedly threatening to shoot people and burn a house down.

Court documents indicate that the Oil City Police Department filed criminal charges against 44-year-old Frank Lloyd Glas of Oil City.

According to a criminal complaint, around 7:49 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, a known victim arrived at the Oil City Police Station to report an incident involving Frank Glas.

The victim stated that she and Glas were arguing and Glas became very angry, got in her face, and threatened to shoot “everyone in the house” and burn it down. She also reported that Glas placed his hand over her mouth during the dispute.

Based on the investigation, the following charges were filed on Monday, June 18, in Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish’s office:

– Terroristic Threats With Intent To Terrorize Another, Misdemeanor 1
– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 1
– Harassment – Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary

A First Class Summons was issued on Monday, June 18.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, with Judge Fish presiding.
